Lost in Austen and Other Janeite Musings...

So, hello, all! I recently watched this movie, titled Lost in Austen. I liked it *so* much that I decided to do a review on it! Yayness!
To begin:
Amanda Price is this single chick living in modern London. She is unsatisfied with her life and has a nice obsession for Pride and Prejudice. But, suprise-suprise! One day she finds Elizabeth Bennet in her bathroom, and she somehow gets sent back to live in the Great Novel itself. Much hilarity and odd moments ensue. It has some weird twists and some odd twists, but the conclusion is just what I thought it should be. A very excellent movie.
Starring Jemima Rooper as Amanda Price and Elliot Cowen as Mr. Darcy. Actually, this is a TV mini-series of four parts, and I don't quite know the time length. Suffice it to say, when I got it from Netflix, it was on one DVD disc and was about 2 and a half hours long.
I thought it a most delightful viewage.

And now, to conclude this review, I have....PICCIES!!!!!!!!! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAAAAAY!!!

The general cover for the movie.

Fangirl on the Sly! LoL.

Amanda and Elizabeth Bennet meet.

The Bennet Ladies. Some of them, anyway.

Mr. Bingley, who may be capable of more angst than you would think.

Mr. Collins. I want to gag. If I ever see this person walking down the street, I will have to laugh, gag, choke, and run away. Poor soul, yet I can feel no pity for him.

Mr. Darcy. He could be handsomer, but I confess, he is not bad to look at at all. :D He also has some smoldering moments in the movie, which I cannot find fault with. >girlish giggle<
A very cute Mr. Wickham, who may not be so dastardly as was formerly known.....(oooo-OOOOOOOO-oooooh!!!!)
Miss Bingley. She has a strange secret under her sleeve...but she is still a witch, just the same.

Amanda and Mr. Darcy.

An awkward party at Lady Catherine's. She is suprisingly fond of gambling, that Lady Catherine De Bourgh.

GAH!!! Wet Darcy!!! But, let us not forget the Original Wet Darcy...

Aaaaaaah!!!!!! Darcy!!!! >girlish sigh<

A now thoroughly Modern Elizabeth Bennet.

Tinky-Winky!!! One of the funny parts of the show. Be sure to watch! (Look! They got a free commercial!)

A Kiss...but is it of passion or of goodbye?!?!

And yet, A Happy Ending!!!!
There! My first review is finished! Now, all I have left to do is publish this and go put the movie back on my Netflix list....
Farewell, my ducks! Know that I love thee!
Adiue.
